Learn to Chant Torah This Fall

Have you ever wanted to chant Torah but didn't know where to begin? Join Judy Alexander, our beloved Education Director of more than 20 years, for a 9-session Adult Learning course on Torah cantillation (trope). Judy has helped generations of students discover the beauty of Torah chanting, and this fall she will guide you through it.

By the end of the course, you will have the skills and confidence to step up to the Torah, at Temple Sinai and beyond. Repeaters are welcome, and teens who want to brush up on their skills are invited too. Hebrew reading ability is required.

When: Wednesdays, 7:00 to 8:15 PM: Oct. 14, 21, 28; Nov. 4, 11, 18; Dec. 2, 9, 16

Cost: Free for Temple members; $144 for non-members ($18 per class)
