This day commemorates the destruction of the Temple and is a day of mourning. To honor this day, we will screen the award winning film, We Will Dance Again: Surviving October 7th.
It is a harrowing and award winning documentary about the October 7th Hamas attack on the Nova Music Festival, a celebration of music, peace and freedom that turned into a killing field as 400 festival-goers were slaughtered or abducted. Two dozen survivors tell unimaginable stories of courage, humanity and heroism illustrated by the actual cell phone footage they recorded while fleeing or hiding. This film was winner of the News and Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Current Affairs Documentary.
A short discussion led by Rabbi David Edleson will follow the screening.
In-person ONLY.
