“The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs.” These simple shapes are the elemental strokes in all Zentangle art. Here’s what you need to know.

We will provide the materials and you can make a small contribution for these materials (suggested $5). We will teach you some tangles, and after you practice them, we’ll make a greeting card. Below is an example of something we might try called Zentangle Inspired Art or ZIA. You can use whatever outline you might like and fill it with the tangles you have learned. We’ll have a few outlines to choose from. There is a limit of 12 people, so please register before April 30, 2026. You will have so much fun learning tangles! Guaranteed!
