Join Chaverim and Knitzvah once a month in preparing a meal for 12-15 guests at the Hope Lodge in Burlington.   It is a place where cancer patients and their families can stay while they undergo treatment if they live more than an hour away from the hospital. The stay is free to them and includes nightly communal dinners.  The Hope Lodge increases access to vital health care as well as providing a community for support. It really is a special place that provides so much in a really challenging time. 

We arrive at the Lodge at 5pm so that we can serve dinner at 6pm. Volunteers are encouraged to eat with the guests as well and then help with clean up.  Everything usually wraps up around 7pm.
