Why many Jews feel unseen, silenced, or blamed—and how understanding rhetorical patterns can bring clarity.
Join Rabbi David Edleson for a Brunch & Learn on Sunday, December 21, 2025, 12:00–1:30 pm. Through the lens of October 7, we’ll examine two powerful frameworks: DARVO—Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender—and the “3 D’s”—Delegitimization, Demonization, and Double Standards. Drawing clear parallels to patterns long recognized in domestic-violence work, Rabbi David will unpack why certain accusations are antisemitic, how they invert responsibility, and why many Jews feel gaslit in public discourse. We’ll explore practical ways to recognize these dynamics, and respond with clarity and compassion.
Brunch provided. All are welcome; mature teens and adults recommended. Content note: discussion will reference violence and October 7.
