Shabbat

Our congregation offers several forms of Shabbat worship, in recognition of the varied histories, demographics and preferences of our members. We hold traditional worship services, led by our Rabbi and accompanied by piano and our Cantorial Soloist, three Friday nights per month, and on Saturday mornings whenever there is a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Children Services / Folk Services

The first Friday evening of every month we hold our popular Folk Service, with guitar and other instrumental music, seating in the round, lots of singing, and modern, accessible melodies.  These services are held at 5:30 pm during the months of September-May.  All other Friday night services are held at 7:30 pm.

During July & August, Folk services will start at 6pm.

One Friday a month we hold a "Tot Shabbat", a short children's service followed by a Shabbat dinner, for our youngest members and their families. (Usually during the school year)
